  Keep in mind that Seattle had been an exhausting wing of the trip, and I was more than a little freaked out by the whole Dirk suddenly becoming the leader of a charismatic cult thing, and Frank, I really thank you for trying to give us a flavor of the local cuisine, but I really think it was that “special sushi” you recommended. And Mrs. Child, I’m honestly, really, truly, terribly, terribly sorry. I have nothing but respect for your work and never intended to vomit on it.
