Mo: After the Unknown reading at Priceless Books, Scott is delighted to discover that Marla is pregnant. Little does he know.

Tu: William contracts HIV from an infected needle, or so he claims. Distraught upon hearing this, Dirk is involved in a motorcycle accident.

We: Frank’s drinking becomes a problem. He breaks Scott’s nose.

Th: Scott discovers something terrible and tries to overdose on valium and quaaludes, with unsuccessful and catastrophic results.

Fr: In intensive care, Scott is having his stomach pumped, Dirk enters the third day of his coma, and Frank is resuscitated. Meanwhile, William enters chemotherapy, and Marla gets an abortion. And then, under very awkward circumstances, all five run into one another.
