After this tour, strangely, it became the hippest thing to be obscure, which caused a large number of famous people to leave New York and move to small towns in the Midwest where people treated them like they were normal. For a whole year, nobody would ever listen to music they had heard of and so many musicians produced CDs with completely blank covers.
